The people at the helm of DPP are well-versed industry veterans. Together, they have over 60 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry.


Barbara Blau


As DP Professionals’ founder and Chief Executive Officer, Barbara Blau brings extensive experience to the South Carolina information technology industry. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she has served South Carolina’s IT personnel market for over two decades.

Barbara’s business philosophy is as down-to-earth as she is. Doing a great job for her clients, providing a comfortable working environment for her staff, and delivering good services to the community are her primary objectives.

Connecting with visionary people to build a better South Carolina is one of Barbara’s ultimate goals. She has served on multiple business and technology committees, supports the arts, and is active in several philanthropic endeavors in the state.


Chris Dickenson


Chris Dickenson is a veteran of the IT Services industry, and has been providing services in the Southeast since 1992. He joined DPP in August 2016, and was responsible for leading and developing our sales and recruiting operations in the Southeast. Chris was named President of DPP in July 2017.

Prior to joining DPP, Chris spent the previous 20 years with a local technology integration firm and national IT staffing organizations, providing services to both Commercial and Government clients throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.


Roger Blau


As Chief Financial Officer, Roger Blau manages DP Professionals’ accounting department.

Roger received his BS, MS, and PhD in mathematical statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a South Carolina resident since 1975, and has far-reaching experience in business, information technology, education, and statistics. He has served as an IT consultant and was on the faculty of the University of South Carolina and the University of North Carolina. His vast knowledge of statistics, IT, and business are a tremendous asset to the company. Roger is a past treasurer and past chair of the South Carolina State Museum Foundation, and past Co-Chair of the Tocqueville Society Advisory Committee, United Way of the Midlands.

Courtney Johnson

Director of Operations

Courtney Johnson has been with DP Professionals since 2003 and has held various roles within the company.  She was promoted to the Director of Operations in April 2020.   In this role, Courtney oversees the day-to-day business operations and onboarding compliance for new employees.  She also focuses on ways to streamline and automate processes and procedures to keep DPP efficient and successful as the company grows. Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and loves horseback riding in her spare time.


Jordan Caldwell

Business Development Executive

Jordan Caldwell is our Business Development Executive and has been with DPP for since 2018. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management, Jordan started as a Technical Recruiter. In 2019, he moved into the Business Development role. A few of Jordan’s responsibilities are to establish and generate new business through partner/client acquisitions on a national level in both the public and private sectors; provide full cycle account management for new and existing clients; and maintain a high level of satisfaction with client relations.


Maddy Eaves

Account Manager

As an Account Manager at DP Professionals, Maddy Eaves manages client relationships in the Columbia area. She joined the company in 2017 as a Technical Recruiter where she exceled at matching candidates to IT positions in the southeast. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and started her career shortly after with DPP. In her role as Account Manager, she prides herself on her ability to build relationships while providing customer service through integrity and honesty. If Maddy isn’t working, she is probably at the gym or spending time with her family and pets.


Tyler Eaves

Recruiting Manager

Tyler Eaves joined DPP as an IT Recruiter in 2017 after shifting from a career as a professional firefighter. After being promoted to Recruiting Manager in 2020, Tyler’s responsibilities now include leading and developing our recruiting team to best serve our clients. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
