Barbara Blau

As DP Professionals’ founder and president, Barbara Blau brings extensive experience to the South Carolina information technology industry. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she has served South Carolina’s IT personnel market for over two decades.

Barbara’s business philosophy is as down-to-earth as she is. Doing a great job for her clients, providing a comfortable working environment for her staff, and delivering good services to the community are her primary objectives.

Connecting with visionary people to build a better South Carolina is one of Barbara’s ultimate goals. She serves on multiple business and technology committees, supports the arts, and is active in several philanthropic endeavors in the state. Barbara’s business and community service includes:

Roger Blau, Chief Financial Officer

Roger Blau

As Chief Financial Officer, Roger Blau manages DP Professionals’ accounting department.

Roger received his BS, MS, and PhD in mathematical statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a South Carolina resident since 1975, and has far-reaching experience in business, information technology, education, and statistics. He has served as an IT consultant and was on the faculty of the University of South Carolina and the University of North Carolina. His vast knowledge of statistics, IT, and business are a tremendous asset to the company. Roger is a past treasurer and past chair of the South Carolina State Museum Foundation, and  past Co-Chair of the Tocqueville Society Advisory Committee, United Way of the Midlands.


Dana Shenkar, Chief Recruitment Officer

Dana Shenkar has been with DPP since 1999, and learned the industry from the ground up. After working as a Recruiting Assistant, she became a full-fledged Technical Recruiter in 2003, and a few years later, added Account Management to her repertoire. In 2012, Dana moved into the Team Lead position for all DPP account managers.

Dana was promoted to Vice President in January 2014. As the Chief Recruitment Officer, she directs recruiting and talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, quality assurance, and mentors DPP’s Talent Geniuses.

Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College.

Chris Dickenson, Director of Sales & Recruiting

Chris Dickenson

Chris Dickenson is a veteran of the IT Services industry, and has been providing services in the Southeast since 1992. He is responsible for leading and developing our sales and recruiting operations in the Southeast.

Prior to joining DPP, Chris spent the previous 20 years with a local technology integration firm and  national IT staffing organizations, providing services to both Commercial and Government clients throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Robin Weber, PHR, Chief People Officer

Robin has served as Chief People Officer for DPP since 2012, where she brings over 20 years of combined human resources experience to the remarkable team at DPP.  A graduate of Seattle University, she received her BA in Business Administration with a focus on International Business.  Throughout her career spanning across the United States, she has worked in banking and finance, aviation, consulting and now directly with recruiting where her goal is to improve the people she serves – her candidates and employees.

Robin possesses her PHR certification, and is currently an active member of Columbia SHRM, where for the last three years she has facilitated study sessions for the PHR/SPHR semi-annual exam.  Additionally, she recently completed training to serve as a mediator for the Midlands Mediation Center.  When she is away from work, she enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures, trying new food and wine pairings and spending time in the great outdoors.
