We are committed to doing our best to assist you in your job search. IT skills and timing are always important factors. Because we look for the right position for you — the one you requested — many of our successful hires and placements take time. We call it making the ideal fIT® .
But it doesn’t stop there. We partner with you throughout the hiring process. We will never submit your resume without your consent — which means you are always in control of your resume.
We can’t help everyone when they are ready to make a change. However, we will keep your resume in our database and we will be pro-active about reaching out to you when we have a good career match for you.
Over time, you may acquire new IT skills, experience, and certifications. We look forward to you contacting DPP to update your profile.
DPP is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to our consultants. In addition to protecting your health and well-being, we offer important benefits to meet your other needs. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Benefits and Disability are available to eligible employees. You can learn more about our benefits program on our Benefits page.
Consultants are hired to fill a specific need for a limited time period. Assignments vary in length; some last only a few months and others can extend into years. As a DPP consultant, you work for and are paid by DPP, but report to the client’s facility. Contingent and temporary are used interchangeably.
This is a “try before you buy” situation. The candidate is hired by DPP as a consultant. If the candidate and the client find each other to be a fit, the consultant can transition and become an employee of the client company. It is a mutually beneficial arrangement. This is also called “contract to hire” or “temp to perm”. There is no fee to the candidate who is recruited by DPP for a temporary position, or who later is converted to a full-time employee for the client.
A direct hire position is one where we search for candidates to fill a full-time position with a client. The candidate will not work for DPP. There is no fee to the candidate who is recruited by DPP for a direct hire position.
Consultants are expected to be able to “hit the ground running.” A consultant must be sufficiently advanced enough to quickly understand the project and be able to contribute to it immediately.
Most client companies have an orientation session to acclimate the consultant to their work environment, security protocols, company time sheets, intranet, etc. The length of orientation will vary by company or even by department within a company.
Consultants may also receive job-specific training by the client company.
