What do you like best about your job?

I love solving problems for our clients, and helping others find a better career. It’s a very rewarding feeling. I like keeping in touch with our consultants and hearing about their new projects and work environments. I also enjoying meeting and getting to know people, and asking questions. Sometimes my friends and family make fun of me for being so inquisitive all the time. So it’s great that I get to do it for a living.

What’s your favorite sport?

Watching basketball. I love the UNC Tar Heels and never miss a game. I have been to the ACC tournament a few times and can’t wait to go back to Greensboro for the tournament in just a few weeks. I look forward to March every year!

What was the best vacation you ever had?

Last April, my two sisters and I surprised my mom with a trip to Naples, FL for her birthday. She had no idea where we were going until we arrived at the airport, or that my older sister was joining us. It was a blast planning the surprise, and relaxing on the beach together.

What is your favorite season, and why?

It’s very hard to choose but I would have to say Spring. I love being outdoors, seeing the flowers bloom, going on walks, and traveling to the beach when it starts to warm up.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

So many things. At first, I would travel and get involved full time in several non-profits.

What was the last book you read, and what did you read it on (print, Kindle, etc.)?

Recently, Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, The Giver by Lois Lowry, and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I read all of them in print. I haven’t moved to the Kindle yet. I am currently reading Oprah’s book, What I Know For Sure.

What words of wisdom do you try to live by?

Start each day with a grateful heart.
